How to Escape from Birth Cycle
With deep tapasya (penance) and dedicated sadhna, you can break free from the endless cycle of birth and death, and from the cycle of accumulating more karma. As Bhagwan Krishna has said:
“yat karoṣi yad aśnāsi
yaj juhoṣi dadāsi yat
yat tapasyasi kaunteya
tat kuruṣva mad-arpaṇam”
This means that if you learn the art of doing everything as seva (service) to God, surrendering each act at His feet—moment by moment, minute by minute, removing the “I” from it—those deeds no longer create karma. They don’t plant seeds for future lifetimes.
This process of surrendering, known as Karma Yoga, is the highest teaching of the Bhagavad Gita. It prevents your actions from becoming seeds of future karma. If mastered, it even dilutes the accumulation of past karmas with the energy of divine light (prakash) and energy (urja). This is the direct path to emancipation and Moksha.
